Nice job, Jylan. Your design is clean and accessible. I’d list the navigation in alphabetical order.

Back to the Hosting, I think we, both, use the same host. They blocked allow_url_fopen as it seems to me. I tried to pull my Twitter content and it failed, but my WordPress installation can still grab the RSS from WordPress servers and from Google blog search. WordPress notifies me if there’s new version available, too. May be WP uses other methods to fetch the RSS.

FreeHostia is good and they offer reasonable free hosting, but I think they disabled the mail() function, but I don’t know if someone can use Gmail as SMTP and IMAP.

Hey Jamal, good to see you ’round again. I’m quite amazed that you have dialup, from what you said about browsing the net all the time I thought you had broadband!

Anyway, good luck on finding a wireless ISP, over here in Australia the plans are a real ripoff, in other words very expensive.

Cool. I have dialup connection at the moment, and speaking honestly I don’t like using it

We don’t have such broadband ISP here, but I’m looking for a wireless internet connection at the moment.

Yes, search engine traffic is the main reason I use tracking code, its so fun seing all these visitors arriving that I wasn’t seeing before!

And what you said about downloading browsers reminds me that my Yeppooninfo.com/articles site looks horible in IE6, must fix that up *screams*.

Hi Jylan Wynne,

Sometimes we forget small things, like to include the tracking code in the new template.

Tracking the visitors is really very helpful for me, because, I can care about what I’m writing when I know what my visitors want. For example, I can compare my incoing searches, what most of the googlers were searching when they came on my blog…

By the way, stats help me to improve site appearance, because, it will make me download any browser I see in the stats collected to check if it’s compatible with my site.
